"I came across this Web site by accident and am glad that I did. The customer service has been great in helping me make intelligent decisions for my purchases. I have been using the small Linear Gravity Pillow for a few weeks now for regular sleeping and love the way it feels. I started for the first week using the side where the neckroll is smaller. I then switched to the side that is slightly larger. I mainly use it for laying on my back, but I find it is equally comfortable in the sidelying position. I have noticed that my upper trapezius muscles are less sore/tense and that the twinge I would feel in my neck when rotating it sideways has decreased.The radiculopathy in my fingers has lessened slightly. Stiff Neck Symptoms: What to Look and Feel For

Stiff Neck Remedies
First thing in the morning, during your shower- let the hot water hit the back of your neck and do some gentle neck stretches. Specifically, these will involve flexing your head forward (bringing your chin to your chest), bringing your head back, bringing the right ear to the right shoulder and to the other side, and rotation of the neck to both sides. These neck stretches can be beneficial because it will help to loosen up your muscles, decrease pain and increase your range of motion. Most importantly, don't do any of these exercises to the point to pain, only to the point of feeling a stretch. Start with gentle neck stretches for a stiff neck.
During the day, use ice on your neck. Cold therapy will help to reduce inflammation and provide a numbing effect. When you use an ice pack- wrap it in a towel and set a timer for 10 min- 15 min max. If you are using a ice pack for your neck, use a 6x20 cervical ice pack. If you are looking for ice for your neck, upper back and shoulders, consider the 9x16 tri-sectional cold pack. Often times, with a stiff neck, your neck muscles are sore, stiff and just turning your head can be very difficult. To work specifically on the muscle spasms associated with a stiff neck, use a natural pain relieving gel like Biofreeze. Consider seeing a chiropractor to examine your cervical spine. Have a proper consultation, exam and cervical x-rays (if necessary).
